My stay was decent, but the corridor noises were unsettling.

The room I was given was reasonably large with three beds, balcony, for instance. The breakfast food, especially breads and eggs was fine. It was based in very good building in a decent and magnificent location, to Monastiraki square.

It is in town and therefore easily accessible. There is a nice welcome with free internet in the lounge by reception and very close to the bar.
The surrounding is very noisy and "greepy". Feels very unsafe.

We stayed three nights in a cozy Double Room, and the staff were a real breath of fresh air, so welcoming! The shower was a right squeeze, though, felt like a wrestling match.

This hotel is very good for value. With 35 euro a night, it provides all the basic amenities : free breakfast, free Wifi internet access, shower room. The room is spacious enough, and have a small balacony. The television is very old, however, as no one nowadays watch television, so does not matter to me.

Kind and helpful staff made our stay very enjoyable. Hotel is excellent value and has decent facilities. The area is rather dangerous but if you are careful the location is central and convenient.

Great location near the metro station, with well-informed staff who provided excellent restaurant recommendations. The nearby Middle Eastern cafe was a delicious find, and the supermarket.
The shower could be a little cramped, and occasional leaks onto the floor might need addressing.

The triple room wasnice and neat, offering great value for budget travelers, bolstered by a 24-hour reception. The nearby supermarket was convenient, and many classic dishes were available for breakfast. The small shower did occasionally leak, and the walk from the nearest subway station felt longer than expected due to the surrounding area. Despite these minor drawbacks, the overall experience was commendable.

Good value for money, hotel extremely clean, staff nice and English-speaking, buffet breakfast not bad, 20 minutes walk to all major attractions in city center. Definitely would recommend it.
Hotel itself had nothing to complain about, just the location did not look too safe, especially late at night.

You cannot beat the Pergamos Hotel for price and quality. There is no other hotel in Athens that offers such generous breakfast, including eggs, and a bathroom of your own at this price. The rooms are more spacious than in other hotels and the televisions are more modern. The hotel bar is open 24/7 and the staff are helpful and friendly.
The area is extremely international. It is worthwhile turning left and left again outside the hotel and you immediately get into the salubrious Museum and more historic, Greek area.

Free internet. Reception open 24hrs.
Stayed there two nights over Easter and was told by a receptionist that Acropolis, museums etc was closed one of the two days, but this turned out to be false. Luckily we managed to visit all the places we wanted to see anyway. Also the hotel is located in a dodgy area, didn't feel safe walking home at night.
